Try these helpful tips to free the clog.
- If necessary quickly shut the water off at the water valve directly behind the toilet by turning the valve clockwise to prevent overflow.
- Using a high quality plunger make sure you have a little water in the bowl to force into the clog. The ball shaped and bee hive shaped plungers work the best.
- If the water is slightly draining in the toilet you can use a combination of baking soda, vinegar, and warm water to help free the clog. Allow it to sit for awhile and see if it frees up the clog.
